Skydive Dubai and Breitling take to the skies

• New video demonstrates both brands passion for aviation and adventure

• Skydive Dubai and Breitling first joined forces in December 2015

Skydive Dubai and aviation and chronograph pioneers, Breitling, have taken to the emirate’s skies together in a stunning short film that marks six months since the launch of their exclusive partnership.

In the new video, the iconic Breitling Wingwalkers are joined by the Skydive Dubai Wingsuit team, Skydive Dubai Swoop team, Skydive Dubai Canopy team and the Skydive Dubai flag jumpers to perform a series of loops, rolls and swoops in unison over the Dubai skyline.

Bringing together all these aerobatic and aero sport experts, while proving to be a challenging feat, demonstrates the passion for aviation and adventure shared by both Breitling and Skydive Dubai. Since the birth of the partnership in December 2015, the brands have been using their combined expertise in aviation, aero sports and adrenaline-fuelled activities, to create unique experiences in the skies for thrill seekers both living and visiting the UAE.

H.E. Nasser Al Neyadi, Chairman of Skydive Dubai, said: “We have been cultivating and growing our Skydive Dubai offering since 2010, and we now provide the best skydiving experience in the world. This strategic partnership with Breitling provides further expansion that mirrors the Dubai Vision; adding a new perception to the aviation industry in general and aero sports in particular.”

Speaking about the partnership, Aed Adwan, Breitling Middle East, said: “Breitling has been sharing their conquests of the skies for 100 years, and this passion for aviation and adventure is something that the great team at Skydive Dubai shares with us. Through the collaboration of our brands, we look forward to reaching even more aviation milestones and providing unique experiences for adrenaline enthusiasts that are second to none.”

From the creation of cockpit chronographs and building on its reputation for precision and sturdiness in the 1930s, Breitling continues to perpetuate the authentic and privileged ties with aviation by cooperating with the world’s elite aviators. In addition to the Breitling Wingwalkers, the world’s only aerobatic formation wingwalking team, several exceptional teams fly the firm’s colours, including the famous Breitling Jet Team with its spectacular precision aerobatics. The brand is also associated with many of the greatest airshows on the planet, such as the Red Bull Air Race, in which its own team competes under its colours, and supports the restoration of the legendary aircraft the Breitling Super Constellation, the last remaining flightworthy “Super Connie” in the world.
